21- Official car pennant

Fanion
Tour de France 1956
This was the official pennant used on accompanying cars during the 1956 Tour de France. This edition has remained famous in France, not least because Roger Walkowiak was the winner. Another French rider, Roger Hassenforder, won four stages, including the one from Toulouse to Montpellier. It was also the first year in which wheel changes were allowed after a puncture.
