Tour de France 1972

Nicknamed “The Druid”, Cyrille Guimard won seven stages in the Tour de France. He wore the green jersey in 1972, but failed to bring it all the way to Paris. That year, he also won the Grand Prix Midi Libre. He devoted his life to cycling as a racing cyclist, sports director, audiovisual consultant and coach of the French road cycling team.
